we have bought 300kg of food with value of 1400 Eur,. at the moment we are in red numbers, this means our money raised do not cover the expenses. But i will keep on fighting,.
Please read below the whole story, but as for today, we are getting to red numbers as we help bit more. But i just cannot say NO...
Help this weekend:
Our friends in town where I was born, found decent house with 2 rooms for family of 5. Two grandparents, one mother and two kids. They have absolute nothing. Did not have meat for weeks, fruit... when i heard this, you can imagine.
Also friends has navigate them how to ask for help from state of Slovakia, so the state will give them some money, but by then we have provide them with food and extra cash. Total spending 150 in cash and food for 275,69 Eur. = 425.69,-
Good people will pay bills for accommodation in their house and all energy costs. Its amazing how people are willing to help!!!
Temporary Accommodation for another family 650 Eur including food
Accommodation for mother and daughter that are just escaping Ukraine - we will need money first for temporary accommodation as they plan to go to Portugal - approx 150 Eur including food.
Also WE WILL NEED TO RAISE ANOTHER 1000-1500 Eur for next food that will go to Ukraine directly. its part of bigger package that i describe in the lower section.

For every single support I am very very very grateful.
we have bed-sheets and towels ready to go to Ukraine and this was our last shopping on the picture below,. When i saw the kids, I must have bought them some toys,. You just cannot go without that!!! :)
In this second help we will need to get:
1 - Food - basic things for families and kids FIXED 300kg of food 1200 Eur
2 - Water heater and Washing machine - Already bought (552,- Eur)
3 - Basic things like toilet paper, tooth paste etc. FIXED 200 Eur
4 - Bed sheets and towels - Bought (717,- Eur)
5 - Accommodation and food for one family for now, in my hometown - FIXED
6 - Accommodation for another family temporary - FIXED
7 - Accommodation for two - Mum and daughter - On-going
Basic Rules:
I will not share horrific pictures to play on your feelings, i believe you read news.
I will not always be able to proof you how we have spend the money - like we gave 300 Eur to family of Mum, Grand Mum and 2 kiddos, that has stay in my home town and then they wanted to go to relatives to Italy, as at least they know somebody there... I just cannot proof this, and taking pictures with them and money ....i found... stupid.
we try to help the best we can, we are in touch with people at West of Ukraine and we try to get them whatever they consider as a need.
WE DO NOT BUY ANYTHING THAT IS FOR ARMY. THAT IS MY RULE!!! We support mostly kiddos, and mums and grand-mums.
Our first help went very well thanx to many of you that read this. We were able to collect 7466,88 Eur = approx. 8206 USD.
All is documented in this post, including donators, including money spend.
We still have 2040,30 Eur left after we already did purchase few things needed for next delivery.
How and where we will help?
1 - We will help people at west of Ukraine to rebuild second area for families escaping War Zones. Dont be fooled that once the war is over, they can go back.. most probably it wont be so easy and there are minefields everywhere, plus most likelly these families have lost their homes for good... :(
2 - we will support 1 or 2 families in my hometown with accommodation and food.
Every penny you will send will be recorded in this post that we will update.
Every penny we will spend will be recorded here as well.
We will post few pictures, but please respect that these people... its tragedy and asking for pictures is for me stupid... but i undestand we sometimes needs to do this, as you can believe me.
